I judge a diner by their club sandwich because I figure if they can't get that right then everything else is probably not awesome as well. The sandwiches main downfall was it's dry hard bacon falling out everywhere. It was actually difficult to eat. I felt overcharged for the sandwich and was even charged too much for extra chips for my son. Plus they only seem to be open in the morning and lunch. Which is a shame because I'd love to go to a diner at night. Maybe the rest of their food is awesome but not with one of my favorite foods. I never write reviews but felt like this one needed a wake up call. I don't expect fine dining at a diner but I expect a decent sandwich.

We LOVE Dave's. Food is PA Dutch fair but much more fresh and tasty that a typical diner. Soups are fantastic, turkey dinner served only on Sundays is moist and delicious. The crab and chicken sandwich is also one of my favorites. We live about 1 1/2 hour away; but drop in while antiquing or traveling to Philadelphia or AC. Dave's is a small treasure!!

Dave's have been there for 5 years and we never knew it. We have camped in this area for a long time and regret having never found Dave's. The food is hot and delicious and the service is great. Do yourself a favor and try Dave's. I had so many home fries I couldn't eat them all, better than too little right?

My partner and I eat at Dave's Diner for lunch or breakfast whenever we're in Adamstown to shop the Antique Malls. The food is terrific and there is no skimping on the quantity. The wait staff is very friendly. I do wish the management would offer daily specials that are not on the main menu. The menu is always the same and never changes.

We LOVE diners. Greasy spoons are great, and that's what we thought we were going to get when we went to Dave's, but it was BETTER!!! The food is fresh and delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and it's become one of our favorite spots for breakfast and lunch. The waitstaff are friendly and fun. We always enjoy our visits to Dave's and do our best to get there every week.

We live nearby and are regulars at Dave's Diner which is our favorite in the area. Everytime we venture elsewhere to check a place out we find ourselves coming back to Dave's. Our experience is breakfast so we can't say what lunch is like. Dave has also sponsored some car cruises and our images can be seen in the lobby.

My girlfriend and I happened upon Dave's diner on a trip from New York City to Baltimore. I'm originally from Easton, Pa. My girlfriend is British and I wanted to show her an authentic diner with no nonsense Pennsylvania Dutch food. We found it at Dave's. The scrapple was lovely, as was the white gravey and sausage and the hashbrowns. And the staff were really friendly. A high point of our U.S. vacation!
