Plum Tree garden has yet to disappoint us. We dine there monthly and are never unsatisfied with our meal. They always score above satisfactory. Their lemongrass soup is tremendous and cucumber sald. My husband raves about their Phad Thai as well. We always order from the Thai side of the menu and will keep going back for more!

I was very disappointed by my meal from New Plum Tree Garden. I had been very excited to find another Thai restaurant in the area and ordered Pad See Ew and Tom Kha soup from the lunch menu. Unfortunately, both left something to be desired. The Pad See Ew tasted nothing like any Pad See Ew I had ever ordered before (and I have ordered it a lot...it is usually one of my favorites). It tasted more like Chow Fun, and even for that standard was not very good. The Tom Kha soup also tasted a bit off. I had read in their reviews that they do better with their Chinese dishes, and am thinking that might be true.
On the plus side, my order was ready fairly quickly (they said 5-10 minutes...it was more like 15 but still decent), the staff was very friendly, and the volume was tremendous. The serving size of Pad See Ew and Tom Kha soup were both very generous. Also, they gave me a side of crispy noodles and fortune cookies.
While this run was disappointing, I would like to try them again for their red, green, or panang curry. However, I would definitely only test out at lunch time as it is considerably cheaper (only about $6 for an entree!). Will report back with more news...
