I went there for lunch and my food tasted spoiled I returned it ordered something else and it also smelled like a dumpster.WARNING IF YOU ORDER FROM THERE MAKE SURE THE FOOD DOESN'T SMELL BAD. The guys response to my food being spoiled was I guarantee its fresh we mad it yesterday Wth type of mess is that. Good luck with not getting sick from that food

After reading the reviews, I was compelled to write one as well. The How Lee in Edgewood is not the same as the New How Lee in Squirrel Hill. After asking the cashier at How Lee in Edgewood, it was actually just a coincidence that the two restaurants have the same name. Although they are own by two separate establishments, the How Lee in Edgewood has very delicious food as well.
When I was there, I tried their fried dumplings, which tasted just like the dumplings I got off the streets of Hong Kong when I had visited last year. The skin of the dumpling was doughy and filled with a meat and veggie filling. For my entree, I chose to try their General Tso's Chicken. The chicken was super crispy and the sauce was a pleasant mix of sweet, spicy, and salty.
On top of the really great food, the customer service was very nice, and the price was pretty inexpensive.
I very much enjoyed my visit to the How Lee in Edgewood and would recommend everyone to either pick up a quick lunch or dinner order!!!
