My wife and I went to the Rib Crib in Elizabeth Pa and OMG! What a disappointment. Being from Texas, Born and Raised, we know what smoked BBQ is, this is not even close. I ordered the ribs, which was a nice size rack but when the plate was placed in front of me, it was swimming in a hot sauce that seemed to be made of an extreme amount of cayenne pepper and vinegar. It was meat swimming in a soup! I guess this place doesn't realize their name is the RIB CRIB not the Sauce crib. The sauce wasn't good either, it was one of the nastiest things I have ever tried. We should open a BBQ Pit in Elizabeth so the people that live here could experience what real BBQ is, they are really missing something. The meat on these ribs at the Rib Crib was tough and had to be pulled and tugged off the bone. A full rack costs 18.95......please do not waste your money or your time. Plus I realize this is a bar, but it is disgustingly dirty. Not that Bars are dirty, but this is a disgrace! I just hope people read this review before they try this place! I hear there is a couple good BBQ places towards Pgh, we will have to try them. We will never, Never consider the Rib Crib again!
