We are new to Sherwood & were looking for a good tex-mex place. We came across Manzanillo's & saw the vacant parking lot & should have kept going. We did, however, decide to give it a try. The service was mediocre at best. We placed our order & requested some queso dip while we waited for the food. The waitress did not know what cheese dip was. She called a manager & after communicating back-n-forth in spanish, we got some queso dip 15 minutes later. $5 for a SMALL cup of semi melted jack cheese!!! The food came & I don't even have the space here to truly elaborate on it. My tostada came hidden under a platter of lettuce after I requested NO lettuce. After removing it all, I discovered a soggy tortilla with bean-like flavorless mush on it. My sour cream chicken enchilada arrived in the form of a soggy chimichanga with no sour cream...completely wrrong. The tamales obviously were from a can. EVERYTHING we ordered was wrong & completely flavorless. We attempted to "doctor" our food with salt & pepper to help it along, but there was no hope for it. When we showed the waitress that she got everything wrong, she rolled her eyes & called the manager. He arrived & argued with us saying we ordered it wrong! What??!! Are you kidding me? Yes, I typed that right, he stood there & ARGUED with us! When we told him that we would never be back & would not recommend his place, he just looked at us & shrugged. We will never darken those doors again. I can honestly say that this is THE WORST eating establishment that we have EVER been to. I highly recommend that you think twice & consider the other reviews here before eating here. I wish that I had seen these reviews before we considered it....
