The DiMillo family has been serving fine food in Portland since Tony DiMillo opened his first restaurant, "Anthony's," in 1954. In 1982, "DiMillo's Floating Restaurant" opened her doors and became the only floating restaurant on the upper East Coast. Last time I came to a meeting there I brown-bagged my lunch. It's the average Maine food suitable for those of us with a dwindling quantity of taste buds. For others, it's bland, predictable, overpriced stuff from the 70s. The unique location [floating boat and view] does not make up for the food, at least in my opinion.
