Best lobster roll in all of Maine! Will definitely be coming back here!

We went there to celebrate our 35th anniversary. When we were seated there were puddles of water still on the table. I ordered the lobster stew which was luke warm and tasted like it had just been thrown together. I had the traditional lazy lobster bake. Lazy is an understatement. There was more lobster in my cup of lobster stew than this plate. There was so much butter the bread crumbs were soaking wet, the lobster and breadcrumbs were covered by the huge amount of butter. My husband had the haddock plater that was way over salted and had to wait over 15 min for some ketchup and I had to flag down the waitress to remind her, the coleslaw was just plain disgusting. The chocolate cake tasted like it was about a week old. No offer at any time to refill our drinks. The table that was seated next to us and after us and placed their order after had their stew delivered about 10 minutes before mine arrived, they had their entrees and left while we were still waiting for some ketchup. They were clearly known to the waitress. We understand places are short handed but your customers do not want to hear you discussing how quickly your can get them out of there so you can seat someone else.

We have just celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary and have not been eating out recently do to the pandemic and my wife Nancy wanted to go to your Maine Kitchen Restaurant in Freeport. On June 05, 2021 we drove down to Freeport to spend the night and eat at your Restaurant. My wife had the Lobster Roll which she had been looking forward to and I had the Fried Chicken Strip Dinner fried with Ray's Maine Maple Mustard and Blueberry Barbecue Sauce. We had both had the same meals there in the past and loved it. This time was a big difference. The Lobster Roll did not taste fresh and the roll was hard. My Chicken tasted funny and the fries were cold. As we sat there and looked around the dining room it appeared no one had been cleaning up after the past several guest as there was food on the floor. It was not the Linda Beans Restaurant we were use to eating at. The hostess did a great job as far as waiting on us however the whole experience was a terrible failure.
