Rating would be 5-star were it not for the to-cool-for-school staff who simply can't seem to be bothered to be polite.

The service we received today was horrible! It is so sad that this establishment has such a rude female "trendy looking" employee operating the cash register. Owner(s), please take note: You should hire friendlier and better qualified people to work, especially in RI where the economy is so bad...and people are looking for employment!

Went there for lunch the other day with some friends and was blown away! What a gem! The funky surroundings, great scents great service and the food, the food was outstanding! And a bargain to boot!
Check it out - you'll love it!

Extremely overrated place. Mediocre food and snippy staff
with lots of attitude. Take your business elsewhere.

Hard to get past the unhappy staff.
The place is charming, but the vibe is negative. Despite all the frills, artisan details, etc... it lacked atmosphere; enthusiasm and smiles amiss! Good capucino, but lukewarm (-big no no to an Italian!!)
idea: they might trade in a few cool hipsters for some boring, yet warmer and friendly employees. Never underestimate the power of life's simple things.

I live right across from another well known Providence icon, and I would prefer to travel the short distance, for far superior quality baked goods with a funky atmosphere, andfun staff as well! Olgas and La Salle (oops!) couldnt be any more different! The outdoor dining at Olga's alone, which has a cafe atmosphere where one can sit and relax ,are worth it. But beyond that the ingredients are fresh, inventive and worth every penny and calorie. A fun place, a great menu and a definite recommend.
08/22/2008 - Great Food
The food is wonderful, the bacon, onion, and mozz cheese pizza and the ham and cheese calzones are two of my all time favorites from this restaurant.
The chocolate chip cookies are great!!
The only thing that disappointed me today was the service we received from the woman cashing us out. She was very rude...almost like she didn't want to be working today. Too bad, she should have gone home! Customer service is very important, especially in a restaurant.
