Since new management the food is not the same. Mine was too salty to eat.

Do not ever go to this place. Since new manager is is horrible. Had punch cards for free meal and he would not honor it. The manager quizzed us on who is was that marked the cards off. He was playing 20 questions with us. He did not believe us that we had bought all the meals on the card so we could have our free Big Kahuna. We were planning on spending over $30 that night. I guess he did not need the business. HORRIBLE customer service. We walked out as he was saying "wait wait you can have the free meal." Then we said nice customer service. I can see why no one wants to eat there and go to L & L. It is not worth the money.

When I went there I learned they had manager problems but were taking care of it. The food is by far the best Polynesian food I've had in Utah County in the 40 years I've lived here; and I've tried every one. I don't know the people but they seem friendly enough; but I had the same problem of going there once when they should have been open but were closed at mid-day. But I've successfully gotten in a couple other times. Worth checking out.

Don't go to this place on Saturday at 2:00 pm if you expect it to be open. We called ahead because we were deciding between L&L's and Matiki. They said they were open; so we drove the extra 10 min. to get there and some people were leaving and they locked the door. The man on the phone had told us they were open and then we got there and they closed. I called him on the phone outside the store and he said they close when it's slow. There was a lady in the store looking at us and wouldn't open the door. Go somewhere reliable like L&L's!
