To Management:
I had my daughters engagement party there last night and disappointing, lousy, horrendous, are just some words I would describe the experience. I can't blame it ALL on Angelo's but mostly on the banquet coordinator Lorraine. She told me prior to booking the venue that we would have the banquet room as well as the attached patio. When I arrived there were people dining on the banquet patio and Lorraine informed me we could not have it to use after all. She also informed me prior to booking that my guests could have as much to eat as they wanted. When it was time to be served, she did not have enough food to feed all my guests and did not have a plate of food for me and told me she would see if she could get me food. Although I paid for each person to get a meal, I was being told that she would have to see if I could get a meal. My senior parents who are 87 and 88 were given half a serving and I was told they were grandparent servings, even though I paid full price for them to have a meal. I was finally brought cold food about half an hour after my guests. which I did not even eat. We were given iced tea with only 8 packs of sugar for 6 full size ice teas and had to wait until she could make more tea and get more sugar for 2 of my guests to get tea. Lorraine I feel was a liar. I had to talk to the manager Marco who tried to make things right by apologizing and trying to get more food served. Not once did I get an apology from Lorraine. My bill was $420 plus tip and all they could do to make up for this experience was give me a $50 food credit. Lorraine needs to be disciplined. She treated me like she was doing me a favor and not like the banquet staff that she was, and did a lousy job on serving me and my guests. NEVER will I book another event as long as Lorraine is employed there. She did not offer one apology for her lousy service and for misrepresenting the service I expected to receive. COLD LASAGNA, COLD ROLLS AND LOUSY SERVICE FOR $15 a person! and such measly tiny servings that my 87 year old father who is thin and tiny did not even get full and he was expected to settle for his grandfather serving. What a bunch of b-llsh-t.
