Description: After 18 years at the post office, Ann Webber is retiring … to go back to work.
In September of 2011 Ann and her Family decided to open The Savory Spoon restaurant on Hartnell Avenue in Redding.
Ann and her daughters have always wanted to open a restaurant, we just love to feed people!
The Savory Spoon will be open Wednesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner and Sunday for brunch. Monday will be our Community Day when anyone can get a fresh homemade meal with no prices simply “pay what you can”.
We will be serving comfort food with a local, natural twist. We will feature some homemade & hearty vegetarian options.
We are operating as a non-profit so that every meal you eat here, helps us feed the community on our Monday Community days. Every Monday anyone can come in, get a good meal and simply pay whatever they can afford! |
