I recently tried Peg's Kitchen based on a recommendation, and I was pleasantly surprised by the Ukrainian lunch I had - cabbage roll, sausage with cheddar perogies, and a bun, all packed with delicious carbs. The sauerkraut was the perfect finishing touch for this comforting and familiar meal that transported me back to gatherings at the Legion, community center, or at home. The quaint diner ambiance and the tasty, fresh perogies made me feel like I was enjoying a meal just like Oma used to make - I will definitely be returning for more.
