As Incline locals for 10 years now we know every place on Tahoe's north shore to eat. There are only a few places that you can count on for consistently excellent food and Sunshine Pastry and Provisions is one of them.
We call them our "Gourmet To Go" place as they have a small area (20 seats or so) for sit down lunch and early dinner. A good portion of their business is locals and tourists coming in to get entrees, sides, appetizers, and desserts to go for lunch or dinner.
They do a good business for lunch with usually one hot entree, and a variety of salads, sandwiches, and soups available daily. The menu changes weekly and is pretty diverse. They have special to go menus for the holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas). They also do custom cakes and special orders on request.
All of the food is consistently excellent. Prices are average for the area, and the service is always friendly and excellent.
I highly recommend this place.
