I worked at Stone Ridge Inn for many years... and I always had a fantastic dining experience....Bucky the owner and Linda the Kitchen Manager, were always amazing...would work there again in a new York minute....hello to all who are still there

Made reservation for 7 for a Friday night, not needed by no means. Small dinning area for about 40-50 people. Tables covered in vinyl table cloth that appeared clean but sticky and tacky. Staff was very pleasant and pleasing. Menu was fine but no draft beer is available. Ordered the NY Strip (only two choices of steak for a steak house) and was okay, but not worth the $23+ price - more like $16. Sides were very little portions. Salads were nice and well prepared.

Overall it was quiet but we waiting a long time for each serving as there was only 8 other people there dinning. Prices were elevated I thought for what is offered. Food was okay but didn't blow my socks off. I probably won't be back or would recommend this place to others. Seems like it could be a nice place to eat, but maybe some upgrading in the dinning area and lower prices is needed.

My husband had the strip steak, I had the filet mignon and my son had chicken alfredo. It was incredible! As my dad used to do, we even tipped the chef! We were hesitant to go because a few years back, we weren't very pleased. Glad we gave it a second chance. So good!

We hadn't been there since it was known as the Stone Cottage. We were very pleasantly surprised! We had reservations for a Friday night and we were glad we did. The place was packed. The atmosphere was cozy. The food was very good and presented well. The salads were big! The service was very good despite how busy they were. It was a big "pricey" but we definately would return!
