Their chicken soup and the queso dip are amazing. Very fast - truly "express" and very friendly service.

Last night (April 17th, 2010, approx. 6:30pm) my husband and I and another couple went to Agave for dinner. They were not busy when we arrived...but soon after were. Our service was quite delayed, thought the server was very nice and polite. Soon after we received our bills, our server was called away to sing a birthday song....ok....after completing our meal we must have waited more than 30 minutes for our bills to be delivered. We decided that we would try and take it to the front, to the bartender. I asked him if we could pay with him? He rudely snapped at me and said "NO, you have to pay your server!". I told him that the server was busy singing at the moment and the bartender said, "well that's his job, you'll just have to wait for him to be done!". I then asked if there was perhaps a manager that I could give my money to,the bartender with anger in his voice said "the is NO manager here, you'll just have to wait!", then turned and walked away. After a bit of time had passes I was finally able to get the server to take our money. He was polite as usual. On our way out the bartender called my girlfriend a "B-tch" as she walked past the bar, (not sure why as she had not even said a single word to him, ever. I though I heard him so I turned back to him and said "excuse me, did you say something?", he said "yes, have a nice night". My friends husband also heard the comment and want to say something to the bartender but I said that he wasn't worth his time. That is the truth of it, he is a miserable piece of trash and should not be allowed to work with people. He is rude and looks as if he drank to much the night before. So there, I said what I wanted to say last night....I will never go back to Agave, there food is only OK, but there "bartender" is pathetic. I hope he reads this...that is if he can read!
