We showed up in Shediac around 7:30pm. By the time we checked in and went looking around we realized places close early - like at 9. One place turned us down to give us a table and they sent us to The Fisherman. The staff welcomed us in, even though it was 20 min. to the end of the night. We ordered the Fiasherman’s platter and a lobster roll plate. Both came with fries and they allowed us to make a substitution for salad on one. Really nice staff and really good food. We weren’t disappointed in anyway. The portions were good sizes. We didn’t leave hungry.

Went with my siblings, party of 8, on Monday October 4th, had no reservations-were not greated with a smile, but berated that we dared go there with no reservations-I saw very few people having dinner. which made her attitude hard to accept. Grudgingly Holly did take us to a table, her service was ok, drinks had to be requested twice, etc etc. Food was ok, however if it had been my first visit,I would not have come again and certainly would not have mentioned your restaurant as a place to visit when in the Shediac area to my Toronto friends.
A group of us, 9 were there for lunch October 6-different server, I do not have her name, she was friendly, helpful, took photos for us-made us welcomed.
The first person you encounter is the one you remember-Holly's attitude needs an adjustment.

Terrible service. Had a reservation for 6:30 for 6 people for a birthday celebration. When arrived, with a cake it took 5 minutes to be acknowledged and seated. Waitress came over, took our total order for appetizers, main course and drinks. Brought the drinks immediately, then never saw her again for 45 minutes. We had to get another employee to check on our appetizers. Finally arrived, ate the appetizers and our server was again missing. Never came back to clear our dishes or ask if we needed anything. We cleared our own dishes to the side, still no server or main dish. Again, went to another server to ask where our food was…another 40 minutes from appetizers to main course. Finally the food arrived and the server was again gone. She said she had 3 other tables? Never checked on us or asked about our drinks or food. Finally, when done we had to search for her again for bill and by this time we were there over 2 hours and didn’t even serve our cake. We complained and were advised the take out was busy and our food was placed in order of received, only one cook and one kitchen.

The food was OK but not worth the long wait and poor service.

We liove this restaurant and will be eating here again...but will not order bake potato again which is my favorite because it tasted like reheated potato, not hot just lukewarm and the taste was not fresh.I have ordered bake potato tiwice before ...same thing. This was at sunday noon Should have been piping hot.As soon as I tasted my first bite, it reminded me not to order that again This is why I am writing this review hoping to fix this potato problem. The rest is yummy

Went there to celebrate my fathers birthday 80. It took long to get our drinks and then it took a long time to get our food. We had reservation for 14 and not enough waitress/ staff to serve us. I had finished my dinner and someone in the group had not gotten their dinner yet. The last ones to be served were my father and the child that was with us. You would think that they would have served them first..... and since we were a large group that they would have enough staff... Not going there again☹

Was there last night ... first mo ginger ale they ran out ??? Then we all ordered and when it came to receive the meal one did not received it they keep saying its coming finally they said we ran out of potatotoes ... hello... are you open or closed... never brought a roll or even ask if the person would like a salade with her meal instead of the potatoes..
This was a anniversary party where we had reserve for 50 people so not as if they did not know..
I find this not good the person in question did not have her supper there as when rhey brought it out everyone was done..
I do not blame the waitress but something went wrong...

My friends and I were in the mood for finger food. We decide to come here since the food is so good. We ordered the oysters and the chicken wings. Sounds like an odd combination but it worked for us.

Bacon wrapped scallops were very good but not big. Seafood linguini was awesome. Sea food platter was just ok. Clam batter was too sweet and there was not a lot of them, expected more for the price. Would not purchase again. Lobster club was good. Service was good.

Cindy should have let her server know about the cold fish cakes. That's just dumb to let it go then complain.
Atmosphere... Superb !
Service...........Superb !
Food...............Superb !
I was devastated when Fisherman's in Dieppe closed. We were frequent guests there. My 65th birthday celebration was there in a private room. My 25 year anniversary at my employment was there also. To find out there is another Fisherman's Restaurant in the area beside Fred's. which is in bad need of a make over. I can't wait to return on Labor day for a celebratory anniversary. It will be sea food again !!!! My favorite meal. Looking forward to another visit. They are staying open all year also.

We went for the soft opening, service was AMAZING, food was AWESOME, as I don't usually like seafood and I didnt left a thing in my plate! :) Price were great for the food we have in our plate, and they are not trying to hide their meat/seafood portion with a sh-t load of fries!
Most restaurants will give you more fries than anything else to make their plates look bigger and that at an awfully more expensive price!!!!
I don't believe in spending more for less!!!
Can't wait to go again and try some drinks and desserts!! Definitely my go to restaurant in the Shediac/Cap-Pele area!!! :)
Good job to the staff, management and owners!!! Took a little more time than expected for the opening, but it takes time to achieve greatness!! :)

WOW!!! Amaizing!!! Great atmosphere.!!! Service was Amaizing, Food awesome, I had the Clam Chowder, nothing like I tasted before. My husband had the Seafood linguini... no words to describe the taste, My Mom had the Seafood Casserole for 15.99 for the casserole it was super good and we were told by the waiter that it was made fresh daily so nothing frozen to loose the taste. We were all Happy and left with full bellies. And wil be returning

Poor service, we were seated about 15 min before server came to take our order, never asked if we wanted a drink from bar,we asked for water. When our meal came, salt code fish cakes were cold, ate them anyway. Asked for tartar sauce for fish, it took about 10 min to get it, food was cold by the time i got sauce, very disappointed in meal, service and price of $64. We dont mind paying for food if good, Restaurant wasn't busy, I will not be going back. Better service, food and price elsewhere.
