Went to the place tonight for the first time and it will be my last the worse place I have ever been in service was slow , food was horrible, the place is dirty and the decor is awful. They even took a dog into the kitchen when we was sitting there eating .. and for the price you have to be kidding me yuk the worse place in Erie ..

First visit--Definitely not my last visit! The food and the ambiance were outstanding. Everyone was friendly and then some. I had the Eggplant Parmesan, a house salad with Balsamic Herb Dressing, served with warm, fresh bread with herbed olive oil dipping sauce, and my own wine. I did not know that I needed to bring my own wine, and luckily, had just bought a Red blend which went well with dinner, and which they so kindly uncorked and poured for me. I especially want to thank Michelle for answering every question and making (excellent) recommendations and Harry, the owner, who made me feel so welcome! What a warm, cozy and artfully decorated space to enjoy a truly gourmet dinner at my leisure. Thank you!

We try to eat local, and La Bella is very close to our home. The food was excellent ~ my husband had marinara pasta with meatballs ~ sauce was very good, very flavorfull, meatballs were a little salty for my taste but also lots of flavor. A nice switch from the generic and bland taste of most Italian restaurants. I had a shrimp dish with artichokes, rice , and a very nice lemony sauce. They really have their sauces down! The waitress suggested mixing their Fred salad dressing with the soy ginger dressing and YES Fred and Ginger!!

However, do not bother checking out their online menu, as it is very outdated. They no longer have soups (other than soup-of-the-day). They no longer have salads (other than a simple dinner salad that comes with every meal). Their entrees have changed quite a bit and prices have gone up. Our bill (with no extras) including tip came to about $55.

Decor is interesting. It's a bit loud, but the ambiance is to our liking. We'll go back to try other menu choices on special occasions. Really would like some soup choices though.

Our family celebrated my sisters birthday at Labellas in January, 2015. The food, service and atmosphere was amazing. We highly recommend La Bella and will definetely go there again!
I love it when I can give a great review for a locally owned establishment!

We have eaten here several times, and enjoy the freshly-prepared food very much. The new owner kept the best of the old Hector's and created a new eclectic ambience. La Bella's is a very good restaurant choice!
