The owners should have cashed out after the fire vs. rebuilding. My husband & I recently went back after their reopening to see if they had improved...believe it or not they are actually worse. My 10oz. NY Strip Steak, was more like a flattened, flavorless, subpar piece of "some" cut of meat, which produced 6 oz. of pure fat & gristle (my husband's steak produced about 4oz. of waste -- obviously not an isolated occurrence); my "instant" mashed potatoes were smothered in a thick "made from a packet" gravy; our side salads barely covered the bottom of the bowl (skimpy -- something they use to be plentiful with in the past) and still covered in greasy tasteless fried bread things they call croutons. The appetizer were good (Jalapeno Poppers) -- they did a good job frying these premade products {but really I could have gotten the same thing @ Jack-in-the-Box & cheaper}. The waiter did notice all fat that the steaks produced and asked if we'd like dessert for free. I politely declined (I would have preferred my intended meal to be satisfying). We left a good tip (wasn't the servers fault) & proceeded to the checkout where the cashier asked, "how was your meal" and I replied honestly, addressing the major point of my dissatisfaction [since she he asked, I thought she really wanted to know], "half of both of our steaks were all fat" -- she did not even acknowledge that I spoke...and handed my husband the $35+ cc slip and asked him sign it -- although she had not handed him a pen, which he had to point out to her. FAILURE, NOT HOMECOOKING, CHEAP PRODUCT -- TRULY spend your money elsewhere!!!!!

Wow. The dirtiest restaurant I have ever been in. Two sets of dirty silverware, a dirty table, dirty menus, and nasty walls. The service staff was not very friendly. The sodas we ordered tasted like they were served in soapy glasses. We didn't stay to eat, in fear of getting food poisoning. I have never walked out of a restaurant before in my life. DO NOT GO TO MAMA MIAS!!

Very good food and excellent, friendly service. I have never heard one negative comment from anyone I know who has eaten their food. Either there or take out.

You can't beat their breakfast special! So much food, so cheap, and so good! Staff is very friendly.
