I like Exotic Thai Cuisine so much, I drive 45 minutes each way every week to eat there. The food is skillfully prepared to-order: you can choose the spiciness and even the meat (or tofu) you want in most entrees. The dishes' ingredients and methods of preparation are fully described on the menu, as well as all substitutions and up-charges: only a dullard won't know what he's getting. If you want slavish adherence to traditional Thai, order the dish that way: if not, have it your way!
The soups I've tried have been outstanding (read the ingredients first), and the correct selection can really complement the entree. The Thai iced tea is great! Soda, smoothies, and bubble tea are also available. There is a limited selection of beer and wine offered.
The sushi is the best to be found at the price in a small city this far inland. I've seen tables full Subaru exec's enjoying it: enough said! The Bento boxes are flat-out bargains. You may watch the skilled sushi chef prepare your order, if you like.
The staff is courteous, attentive, and anxious to please. If you have trouble with the occasional language barrier, ask for the manager and you will be taken care of. The decor is commensurate with the prices: pleasant, not lavish.
My only complaint is with the beef. I've never been satisfied with it and cannot recommend it. With that caveat, I say join we many regulars and enjoy!
