Always only the best at the Whistle Stop! Wanda and her staff are always friendly and willing to do anything possible to make their customers happy! The cakes and pies are the best I have eaten anywhere. We have eaten there for several years now and it continues to be our favorite eating place in all of East Tennessee!

I bought a cake there and it was for a fancy dinner. We cut the cake and it was so dry and I was so embarrassed I could have died. 50.00 dollars down the drain. Never buy any cake from there again.

Saw ads on TV for months and finally decided I had to try this place out... well all I can say is the food is the best within 100 miles of Bristol !!!! So go grab a sandwich and see for yourself! It’s a 30 minute drive for me but well worth the time for the absolutely fantastic homemade “made to order” food! And they have cakes, deli meats and cheeses and other great things !!! This is definitely an eatery NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!!

Sorry but I really disliked the chicken salad and I am s huge fan of chicken salad sandwiches. The roast beef hoagie was huge but cheesr sliced too thick. Prices reasonable and front staff was friendly , however the owner came out and did not seem as friendly as on tv. I will try some of the cheeses which I think should be incorporated into specialty sandwiches.

Our favorite stop when we frequently visit Unicoi. It is so neat to walk into an eatery and be remembered. We have never had any food item with which we have not been extremely pleased. The Christian atmosphere is very special.

We recently ate at whistle stop deli. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The owner came and visited with us. We will definitely go there again. Good day trip.

food great staff freindly helpful owner always concerned and goes out of their way to help with food to make sure packaged going home or long distance travel just let them know in adavance and its taken care of. this is in response to lady not makes her plans clear where she is going

Me and the wife went to Whistle Stop today it was our 1st time to eat there.We had the Philly Cheese Steak & it was even better than it looks on T.V.All of the staff was friendly & it was very clean, we eat outside in there dinning room like it was warm and was a very nice place for a nice lunch.It would be hard for anyone to have anything bad to say about this place!!

staff is very friendly and helpful. menu is quite extensive for a track side deli. Exceptionally clean and neat. Food portions are large and the quality is superb. The outdoor seating is great in good weather. All in all a wonderful experience. I'll be a return customer.

Saw their "moment" on local tv station, so I ordered a cake weeks ago to take to Ohio and when the husband went to pick it up, they put it in a shallow box and covered with saran wrap. My husband told them it was going to Ohio, made no difference to the folks who were working at the time. The icing/decorations are "mashed" and owner became very defensive when I called to complain and stated she didn't know it was "traveling." Has anyone ever decorated/iced a cake and then covered it with saran wrap? $50.00 wasted.
