when i first read about this place i was excited to try it. I had even heard some not so bad reviews. SO i ordered it and after spending over the $20 required to get a 2L of pop, which i did not receive.So i ordered on of their specialty pizzas and some wings. the pizza reminds me of a terrible frozen pizza. The wings you can tell have been frozen and i ordered BBQ and XXX hot. The BBQ had almost no sauce and did not taste good at all. The XXX WERE NOT SPICY! and if you charge me extra for HOT the better damn well be hot!. I was surprised to find out while they accept credit if you wish to put a tip on the card they need to know the value up front. So i tipped the high end of what i give to delivery drivers (a little more than 20%). When he arrived, which was promptly, he refused to enter my building. He was snipy, and arrogant, he even argued with me over how every apt building in iowa city works( any key will open the entrance door). Now i know i should not expect him to wait on me hand and foot but i do expect to not have to enter into a cold dark alley to pick up my food if i tipped >20%. I will not be ordering from here ever again, and i truly think this is worse pizza in iowa city

pizzas good, however i was told that my pizza wouldnt be hurried for 1or 2 dollar tip even though i was broke... ok.. you dont tell people that. i work in a place that delivers i know. customer service is lowsy. i live amongst many pizza places, competition is key, this place doesnt care.

I love the King. Try their brownies, honestly amazing.

Excellent prices for the amount of pizza, not gourmet by any means but they are open extremely late and everything on the menu is tasty
