Used to be our favorite restaurant in Avon. They have served their lunch menu Monday thru Saturday forever. We went in on Saturday at 1 pm and were given a dinner menu. The habichi chicken was $16.95 instead of $9.95 on lunch menu. It did not come with fried rice as the lunch menu does, only tasteless steamed rice. A meal that used to be full of flavor was tasteless and terribly overpriced. So sad. Wondering if it is under new management. Will be hard to return after this meal. Hopefully lunch during the week is still flavorful and reasonably priced.

Looking for a restaurant that serves good raw fish in the West side of Indianapolis. We heard there was a good place in Avon. We used Google to find the name and location of the restaurant. Hirosaki Japanese Restaurant turned out to be very close to where we live. We arrived at the place around 6:15pm. The place was starting to get busy. We were going to get take out, but decided to go to the Sushi Bar. We were served quite quickly. We ordered a Sushi platter which we shared and a Tuna roll. The fish was fresh and the service was very good.
