Just stopped at drive in window & ordered 1/2 chicken dinner all dark meat. Evidently ole south has learned how to turn breast into dark meat 😳😳

we love ole south they have an amazing breakfast!!! & just all around amazing buffet its to die for ...definitely a place my husband and i can both agree on as well as the kiddos !!!!!

Great food and service. Ignore these bad reviews. They are just butt hurt people who like to complain and expect to be treated like royalty. I doubt some of them have never eaten there. Some people are just professional bad review morons who just go online and leave bad reviews.
This place is a good place to eat.

Foods good and wait staff is good but the old woman they have running the register up front is to focused on talking to every other customer in the place to seat you or check you out

Was passing through the area and found ole south.. sorry but if this is the best bbq Owensboro has to offer they need a new bbq place. Worst " bbq" I've ever tried.. the place smells dirty and greasy.. not impressed at all
