Wow! My husband & I had lunch there last week. Walking in to Ceal's Cafe' you automatically know this is someone's life. Not a chain. Not a corporation. Just a darn good cook with a passion. It's not fancy; but is relaxed. It's not pretentious; but friendly. The price seemed cheap, so we figured the portions would be small especially since it was lunch so we ordered 1/2 order of onion rings as an appetizer. These were definitely home made. Light, crispy batter and tangy ranch dipping sauce. Yum! Then, the food comes and you're wondering if it'll be good or greasy. One bite settles that question! I had the fried pork chops. Perfectly crispy. Not greasy at all. You get to choose several veggies and a choice of bread-homemade rolls, cornbread, etc. All for one low price (~$8). He had a (BIG) cheeseburger on a super fresh bun (seemed home made) piled high w/ fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles-the works! and a mess of steaming hot home made fries. It was absolutely delicious! We took our left overs home and enjoyed them for dinner. I definitely recommend this little place anytime you want comfort food! We'll be back!
