High prices for what we got, the food wasn't flavored or prepared well.

I was not informed of the up charges for certain sides and was not told of the entrées that did not come with salads. Lunch ordered for six people was $103.00. I spoke to the server and was referred to the manager, who I don't think was even listening to me and blurted out have I answered all your questions, I replied no and she walked away.

Best dineing experience. Food well prepaired, looked appitizing and was mouth watering. Had T-BONE STEAK cooked to perfection, well done and not dry. Veggies wanted tender, got it. Employees friendly. Well worth another trip to DeRidder, was my first.....pleased, just passing through. Your staff outstanding Sat. 7/19/14.

I've been to DD's several times and have always had good food and friendly service. This evening was the exception. The food was good as always, but the waitress, was very rude to us. We are still trying to figure out what we did to make her mad! We asked for our ticket because we had to be somewhere in 10 minutes and she was at the bar ignoring us. I almost left without paying. When she finally brought my card back she just set it down and flounced off in a huff. I always leave at least 20% tip on all my meals, but this chick got zero, zilch, nada and zip from me. My advice: if you go there, don't let them seat you by the bar! The give a crap level of the waitresses there is zero. I would recommend Cecil's. They are owned by the same guy, but the waitresses are friendlier and more professional.

The difficulty remains after several visits...undercooked hamburgers and a staff whose primary concern is looking good and bouncing around in front of him without a sense of responsibility to customers. "Hi- my name is...and I am your waitress" is a great start for service but that is not what I've found.

I love their food it is all goo so far...The only problem is they are extremly high priced it is almost like eating a great meal at Copplen New orleans Rest... prices!!!!! For a small town people cannot afford to eat there often unless you are one of the rich people of the town!!!!

My family loves this place. They even have steak bits on the children's menu. It might not live up to the high dollar chains, but it's perfect for small town dinning.

Looks like a steak house, feels like a steak house....but hold on my friend! Step back out the door! I have been disappointed every single time their food has touched my pallet. For the price they charge I would expect nothing but the best. Unfortunately I have had a hamburger served by an ever popular clown, meet higher standards at a better bargain. I give double D's 2 D's for Don't Do it!!!!!
