Since this place was sold the chicken has slowly gotten BAD. It's not fried right ,very
Grease and it has a smell, like it is old grease.
I WILL NOT BE BACK.

Went through the drive thru and was met with a cashier with a nasty attitude. On top of that was served cold chicken. Turned around and went back in line to have my food replaced and was greeted with an attitude yet again. The girl didn’t have the decency to apologize for serving cold food the first time. HORRIBLE SERVICE!

Haven't been there in over 15 years, don't live near. I WILL BE BACK!! Best fried chicken I've had in years. Lightly battered, very moist, simple seasoning, didn't cover up the true taste of the meat.This place has been there over 50 years, competing with all the rest, that says something folks! Great service, friendly staff, give em a try.

I can't speak for the food because we ended up not eating it. The wait was insane. I know they were busy but come on. Over 30 minutes was ridiculous.

Overall the food is good. I'm skeptic sometimes because of the uncleanliness. They don't wear gloves or hair nets. So I pray I never find hair in my food.

We enjoyed the chicken, fries, okra, and rice dressing. I am looking forward to trying some of the other items as well. While I enjoyed the food the place is old and needs lots of work when it comes to their furniture and cleanliness of the dining room.

Love their fried chicken, tasty spices and juicy. They have great crispy fried catfish.
