Best pizza in the area, tri tip always amazing in any manner, nachos yum! Never had a bad experience at this restaurant and have taken many family members and friends there, with no problems ever. We will definitely miss this place if it goes away.

My wife, kids and I have eaten here numerous times. I’ve gone to lunch here with the guys I work with so many times I can’t count. They deliver good food at a reasonable price. Waitstaff is usually top notch. I’ve never been disappointed. We’re local and have many options but continually return to the buckboard and enjoy it every time. Thanks for keeping you doors open and for the way you’re handling the Covid19 issue. And most of all thank you for giving us a first choice restaurant out here in Murphy

We love this restaurant. They make the best pizza and their Sunday Brunch is fabulous.

Took a friend that has been wanting to go here for the longest time, we finally went Friday!! I had the streak and prawns, the steak was cooked to perfection, it's not often that I can order a streak and it's cooked like I ordered. My friend ordered the brisket plate and the brisket fell apart, rarely does she take leftovers home but she wanted her meal to go!! The service was excellent and prompt and even after getting packed she still made us feel we were her only table. Now I want to try the brunch!! Thank you Backboard Grill!! Btw, your kitchen which is viewable, looked like an amazing team!!

The pizzas where top of the line! Tonight sucked! Could have got a dominoes for less and better. They lost there passion for the pizza!

I FEEL THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS WERE UNKIND AND UNCALLED FOR.
I CAN NOT COMMENT ON THE DINNER MENU BUT RECENTLY I TOOK A GUEST TO SUNDAY BRUNCH, WE WERE GREETED AND WELCOMED BY RICK, WE WERE SEATED AND RICK OFFERED US CHAMPAGNE, MY GUEST IS UNABLE TO DRINK ALCOHOL, DUE TO MEDICATIONS, RICK OFFERED AND MADE A NON ALCOHOL DRINK FOR HER.
WE FOUND THE SELECTION OF FOOD WAS GOOD AND WELL PREPARED.
THE STAFF WAS VERY CORDIAL AND ACCOMMODATING, I WILL BE BACK.

This was THE worst dining experience I have ever had. I ordered the ribs platter, my friends ordered fish and chips and the behemoth sandwich.
I watched the cooks work in the open kitchen, and they seemed to question the quality of my ribs. I watched them as they poked the ribs and smelled them, then called the owner over to smell the ribs. After a couple mins they decide3d to plate my food and serve it. The ribs smelled like they went bad a couple days prior to service and the cooks tried to cover it up with BBQ sauce. The fish and chips was really fries and breaded fish chunks. There was noyhing in the basket that resembled fish. The basket did, however, smell like old fish. The behemoth is made up of pulled pork that was uber stringy and old, tritip that was overcooked and leathery and beef brisket that was dry and fatty. Then all that is topped with burnt onions and very vinegary BBQ sauce. All the food was horrible. It all looked tasted and smelled old. On a side note, I have never heard employees talk so horribly about their boss. A kitchen employee that hates their job makes horrible food.I will not be returning to the Buckboard.
