Good food, good prices, staff has been long time workers and part of the community. Any bad reviews are coming from people who are not locals and don't understand the dynamic here.

Please check the dates on the reviews. I've done restaurant work before and the prices are too low. Try the strawberry covered waffle with whipped cream (not cool whip)

We go almost every Saturday morning. If it's packed/busy then yes, there is a wait. We got up too late this morning for breakfast - will probably get chicken fingers to go. **these are not reg chik fingers, these are big and breading is just right.

Don't really want to cook? Grab the 'chicken fingers' to go, boil pasta, make sauce add cheese - chicken parm.. Makes great chicken club salad for work (bring salad dressing & chik separate)

At times the girls at register will be helping get drinks for restaurant, Usually only one register open.

Like many businesses today, getting help is hard; in small town it can be even harder. Give them a break when busy, relax it's all good

I was planning to take my grandkids tho this place for lunch someday, as i remember it being a nice place back in the day. After reading these reviews, I will go elsewhere

I realize this is reviews based on food, so i will start there but I will delve deeper. The food is pretty decent... nothing amazing. Prices are extremely outrageous. This business struggles to decide if they are a convenience/gas station or a diner. As such, both suffer. The dining room is ugly and uncomfortable. Don't expect to use the bathroom while dining. The service and employees are by far the worst I have ever seen. This place is sitting in a prime location, a gold mine location if you will. It serves a large radius of people who do not wish to go all the way to Lisbon or Lewiston for their cigs/snacks/gas. Wether dining or just purchasing gas, these employees will make you cringe. Expect to wait in a long slow line, with miserable cashiers who will sadden you and waste 15 minutes of your time to make a simple purchase. You feel like a burden to them every time you step in to purchase something. Every time I decide to suck it up and stop here, I immediately regret it. I wish I had the money to open up a store right across the street of Rt 9 in that wooded area, to cash in on this prime location. It would be a super investment and I just wish at least SOMEONE would step up and open a store right next to them. It would take a matter of a couple days and little no to effort to steal all of their business away, serve the community better and put this crap place out of business.

Although the food is good, the atmosphere is that of a truck stop of sorts. Its very good food. the employee's are rude and have been for years. They close earlier than i would like to see. Breakfast is good. They just need to focus on WHO PAYS THE BILLS which is the customers and train the employees to be more welcoming and friendly. However i think this is the owners personality as well. Get a dining room and bathroom makeover is a MUST. But again i will say the food is GREAT and prices are reasonable.

Horrible. It is 5:25 pm and my husband just went to get chicken. They told him he could have chicken strips, they wouldn't cook more chicken because they were busy "remodeling" so they foisted the last of their strips off on him. If you want something to fill the hole with no flavor and a side dish of crappy attitude then shop here. If you want better attitude & food at better prices, make the drive to town.

For not the first time I went into the Settlement and got horrible service. The guy in front of me had just filled his tank and then bought a bunch of stuff. His total was over $100. After paying the guy waited for the girl to bag his purchase. She just stood there and finally he asked for a bag. She heaved a big sigh and huffed like it was a big imposition. The guy just dropped a c-note in your business! Where is the gratitude.

Then she rang up my order. Gas and groceries, $80. Same treatment. NEVER AGAIN!

Good food, Ordinary service. I don't buy gas there because they are a Citgo station and it is owned by Venezuela a country run by communist dictator Hugo Chavez.

No matter how good the food is the service always trumps it. Great service and ordinary food will get return visits before great food and poor service.
