Be sure to read the RULES before entering, unfortunately I didn't see them first counter on right we stopped had deserts on wall behind this counter, saw a small bar on my right and seats were filled. I saw a bell on the first counter and thought I was supposed to ring it and did, was told anyone ringing that bell gets thrown out in a NASTY voice. Moved away and saw over the Bar a sign, Order here Pay here. ordered steak on bun and paid. they yell your name after you wait for your order, thick sandwiches, went back to ask for a knife, (Big Mistake) I asked for a knife the girl that came over to counter Actually threw a Butcher Knife at me and Said"don't cut yourself with it" The other customers had Normal steak knives, She was just in a Nasty mood and so was the owner who threatened to throw me out. would have left after that remark ,but long ride ahead and it was late. Must admit the pie was good, steak sandwiches were not very good, have had much better in Bangor at Applebees. No way would I ever recommend it, or go back.From start to finish the staff was Rude, I ran my own business for over 20 years and would have fired any one working for me who treated one of my customers as I was treated. Owners names are Mike and Kim, If Kim is a Girl it was Mike who threatened to throw me out, What goes around comes around MIKE !!!

I was first introduced to this place approximately a month ago and I can't say enough good things about it....the smoked flavor, slow-cooked meat will make your mouth water even before you take a bite....it truly is one-of-a-kind and amazing place....stop there, you won't regret it!

They are open Th, Fri, Sat 10-8. Sun 9-5,
Mon 11-3. Closed Tuesdays.
Best pulled pork we've had on the East Coast,
and we'we been from Maine to Florida and
had much BBQ. We'we even judged at cook-offs.
We have found them the best!!!!

Ribs are absolutely fabulous!! I'm a huge 'q sauce person and I don't put any on these ribs they're so darn good. Slaw is good, potato salad is ok.
Place is funky, colorful, & laid back. The owners (the ones serving you most likely) are cool too making it the perfect place to kick-back and enjoy BBQ w/whatever you are brown bagging...yup, all legal.
