They should really put on their menu that luncheon specials are not served on holidays. It says they are served daily, so they should be served every day unless noted otherwise.

We ordered the vegetable lo mein, spring rolls, pan fried meat dumplings, vegetable fried rice and the pandas trio. The first thing that struck me was the cost. It seemed more in line with NYC, not Bangor. But I figured if the food was good then the cost is probably worth it. Such was not case. The lo mein noodles were dry and tasteless as well as there being practically no vegetables in the noodles. The vegetable fried rice had more vegetables in it than the vegetable lo mein did. The pan fried meat dumplings were not much better - we ended up tossing most of them away. The panda trio was so-so at best but was at least edible (which is why I gave them two stars and not one). There are better places in Bangor to buy Asian food so will not be ordering any more food from the Panda Garden.

Food on buffet was good but they don't change out dining plates. Most buffets you take New plate every time. Cross contamination. If serving utensils touch your plate everyone gets some.

THE BEST Chinese food I have ever had, straight up! Very nice people and always know I'm going to get what I order. I'm never going to order from anywhere else!

I have lived in Bangor for over twenty years but have eaten Chinese food all over the country--- I still love the Panda Garden! The daily buffet is high quality and a very pleasant atmosphere vs. the big factory eateries. Ginger chicken is a delicious and lighter dish from the menu. I highly recommend this local place.

Best Chinese Restaurant I have ever visited. The buffet is reasonably priced, strictly Chinese, and the freshest you will ever find, just like individual serving. Very nice tea and the donut like dessert in the buffet is very good with the tea. Also very pleasant people owning and serving.

A favorite for locals of all types, and unique among all Chinese restaurants in the area. I prefer to order off the menu but they do offer a buffet with plenty to choose from. Great service, fair prices, great meal every time.

I enjoyed their food immensely, it was fresh tasting and cooked to order, you could taste the flavor of the food and seasoning, not just sweet marinades, also the fried food wasn't overly greasy like most other places I've tried in the area. I would definitely recommend visiting this place and trying it for yourself! They also have a very relaxed dining atmosphere!
