The girl working in the mornings on Monday, Wednesday and Friday is amazing. She great and nice worker. Its believed that thanks to her there is many customers at that location.

I have owned 4 restaurants, three in Chicago and one in Mexico and was impressed with Mermaid Cafe. The food is good for the price points. When I went, counter service was only available and the girl behind the counter was both very efficient and personable. I actually am on my way back there for my second visit now. I would suggest this place for quick in expensive sandwiches or breakfast. Lots of healthy options.

Mermaids makes the BEST smoothies. The owner and staff are friendly, and get to know your name and preferences quickly. Their toasties and wraps are a tasty change from standard restaurant fare, and everything is made fresh to order. It's a great place to meet friends and catch up on Marina news.

The waitress was rude or in a bad mood. The bread on my sandwich was stale. When I asked to speak to the owner she corrected the problem by bringing out another stale sandwich and still expected me to tip the waitress. On the good side, well, the restaurant was clean and the fact that it was near the beach was cool.
