I have been coming to Shady lane,for over 40 years....

I HAVE NEVER HAD SERVICE LIKE I DID TODAY (4/30/21)
A LARGE SWEET TEA WITH NO ICE...HAD TO GO BACK AND GET ICE... TWO ORDERS OF FRIES THAT WEREN'T DONE...HAD BLACK CRUMBS ALL OVER THEM.
I WILL NOT I REPEAT I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK....

The food is pretty good for the type of establishment it is....Fast food, not gourmet dining. Besides, look up ingeredients on a hot dog and you would probably never eat one again!
Try Chicken or Steak samdwich.

Great chili dogs and slaw dogs! A+ If I'm headed down 75, I'm making a pit stop at Shady Lane.

I don't know what people have compared these hot dogs to, saying how "great" they are, but obviously they haven't had a really good hot dog! This had to be the worst, soggiest, greasiest, coldest excuse for a hot dog my husband and I agree we've ever had. We are always in search of the world's greatest chili dog, so we've tried many on our travels. However, the one at Shady Lane Drive Inn did not make the cut!
