This evening (6/27/2014) I ordered the large portion of prime rib cooked medium- to go. What I received is their small portion of prime rib, cooked well instead of medium, dry and chewy and tasteless. My eat-in experiences are worse. The chubby blonde waitress (the owner's divorced daughter) makes a practice of giving ladies poor service. In the past I ordered a baked sweet potato and got a regular baked potato when there with a male companion- his order was exactly what he ordered. Another time I ordered blackened salmon and got baked- again with a gentleman friend who received what he ordered. When I had dinner with 5 others my order was delivered more than 15 minutes AFTER the other 5 in my party received their meals. This "waitress" is well aware that one member of the party won't send their meal back and either make the others wait for her meal while their meals gets cold or the screwed up order 'victim' will be eating alone long after the other members of the party have eaten. I am not the only female who has this repeated bad experience at TJ's- this is a small town and it gets discussed among peers!

I've lived in this area for more than 26 years. Every time I eat at or order from TJ's- once every year or two due to past bad experiences- I remember why I stopped eating there. Duh on me!

The food is great! Service was good and we really enjoy Tj's the only downfall is they never want to keep the place temp friendly its cold in the winter and hot in the summer. And the owner is a little rude he will close while your still having drinks he just turns things off and runs you out.
