My wife and I were very excited to try the CareTakers Cabin with its rich historical location. The small dining area was quaint and charming. The wait staff was friendly.
Unfortuantely for us and our pocket book, the food was horrible. The chicken entree was terrible. My wife's steak had a prime choice price tag, but it tasted like saddle leather.
We felt like we were robbed. We were lured in my the charming atmosphere and the promise of a gourmet meal, which we were willing to pay for; it was $90.00 for the two of us -not including a tip or wine/coktails. Who cares about the atmosphere when the food is terrible. We would rather have a crummy atmosphere in exchange for good food!!
Thumbs down for the Caretakers Cabin.
