How this place is so highly rated is beyond me! If you enjoy a dingy semi-clean place with low quality food, come here. It’s a great concept that is very poorly executed. While it was entertaining to watch the high guy try to cook, I certainly do not recommend this place. The atmosphere is depressing, the cook seemed annoyed that he had to cook, and FAR better food can be obtained at IHOP or Dennys for about the same price. We were passing through on vacation and stopped here because it’s got the 3rd highest reviews of any place in north Platte… we had planned to spend the night in North Platte, but after eating here we decided that if this is in the top 3 restaurants, there was no reason to spend another moment in this town, so we kept on moving. This was the only bad experience in food that we had in a week of traveling all over Nebraska and Kansas.

Keep driving.... I stood there for three minutes which isn't much time but was long enough for seven different staff to look at me.., one to actually glare and nobody would take 10 steps to come over and give m an estimated time. I promise i have shaved in the last 24 hours and i even had my shirt tucked in.... No reason to ignore me. Ive been wanting to stop there for a while.... Glad I crossed that off my list as a wait of time.

Truly wonderful service and food. Nicest staff with prompt customer service, great food, and generous portions. I loved it.

This is the one in Fremont, Nebraska. I tried to find something good about this place but that is not possible. The food is not home made it's all bought prepackaged and frozen. The cooks they have need better training or learn how to cook. Do not order anything with gravy they leave it sit for days with out making fresh. The service is terrible trying to get someone to even wait on you is a chore then the attitude they have is horrible like you are bothering them. I have seen people getting their own drinks. One employee was using foul language in front of the customers. Not recommended for anyone.

ate at the one in Fremont NE, it was nasty. Order burgers they were pre made patty's ,cheese wasn't even melted. Also got dirty silverware. Didn't even offer to see if needed ketchup or any thing else. Totally dislike all around

I went there and got salmonella poisioning! Cost me hundreds of dollars in dr bills and tests plus the 20 bucks for a horrible meal! Will never eat there again! When i called and told them they poisioned me she said too bad! I asked if that was all she could say she said i could file a complaint and maybe the g/m will take a look at it? REally? Needless to say the dr is reporting it to the state health board because its now an issue!

Isn't it disappointing when you have high hopes that are dashed? We anticipated a Guy Fieri experience. Alas, it was just plain breakfast and burgers. Not bad, just nothing "off the hook".

the poorest service i have in years of eat out .the cook tell the server that he just didn't want to cook my meal. i call the dinner the next day and and talk to a mgr and was told by him that the g/m would call me back . after 10 days and a e-mail later i got a call back.was told by g/m that She knew nothing about what had happen .the dinner mgr got on speaker phone and basely told me me they have just been to busy to make a follow up call. so eat there at your own risk.

A real American Diner with a clean interior, very friendly staff, solid American food, located close to freeway, gas stations, a campsite and motels. It might be the best meal of the day for long-distance travelers.
