Came up from Massachusetts 2 weeks ago and had a great dinner... back with the kids to celebrate our anniversary and again another amazing dinner... never rushed always attentive! worth the ride.

My grandparents enjoy this place so for their 60th anniversary I ordered takeout for my family of eight. Before I placed my order i asked the host on the phone how much a fisherman's platter would feed. She replied "plenty for 2." Therefore, i ordered three as well as 2 BBQ platters. I asked for extra coleslaw and to switch out the whole clams for clam strips. As I work in the restaurant industry i'm aware that takeout can be a hassle and is time consuming. I drove 45 minutes to George's Seafood and tipped a generous amount (over 30%) because of the extra favors i had asked for in my order. I got home and opened up my order and not only did ONE platter barely feed ONE person and not TWO like i was told. I never got my extra coleslaw. So I called the restaurant and the manager Pam told me should would send me a gift card in compensation for my troubles. Well, a whopping 26 dollars came my way. WOW, thank you so much. I had my father call the manager to see if they would at least return my tip since i didn't get not only what i asked for in my order but the extras i never received. Well the OWNER hung up because he was "too busy" to deal with this. How professional. To not only call back but mock my father on how "oh, everyone works in the restaurant industry." Yes, i am young but i have worked in the industry for over 7 years. I know good service and good manners and this company's ownerships has ZERO. I am highly disappointed to say the least and how unfortunate it is that my grandparents will never be dining here again and DO NOT recommend this place if you are looking for a well ran restaurant. God forbid anything go wrong and you have to deal with these people. 0 out of 5 stars really. AWFUL.
