What a shame!! This place was the best place for jumbo fried shrimp and had chicken breasts so juicy and as large as a turkey!! But, they suddenly didnt care about their business anymore. They were always rude and the place was always unkept but the food WAS awesome! I just ignored the rudeness. That is how good it was!
Normally, i woukd say forget it! Then, the last few times i went there, the shrimp was darker than usual. It was not good. And, they started to try to give you smaller sides. The common sides were fries and coleslaw ...a pint of each! I loved their fries and i usually don't like fries at all. And, I got applesauce instead of fries but instead of a pint, she gave me three condiment cups if it!! Well, i called n the lady said she was sorry n would replace it. But, she said i never told her i wanted the pint size of applesauce ..what!?!? It comes with it!! She told me i keep telling him to stop using old oil but he never wants to change it!! She even said people keep calling n complaining n they are gonna stop coming if he keeps using that old oil! She cont. And he wonders why we are losing customers! I couldn't belive she was saying this to me. Well, in the end, they hurt themselves by being cheap n lazy n cooking in old oil that tasted like chicken n fish mixed!!! So, whoever "he" was that she was talking about is to blame. They would still be around i am sure!!! So, a couple weeks later, i got the $40 meal. It was great again!! I thought i guess they Iearned their lesson! So, i thought their bad time was over. I always like to give a place a chance n i gave them many because it used to be so good years ago. Everyone in the area went there...outsiders would never find it. Everyone knew to go there! But, then it was like a yoyo when it came to quality....the rudeness was always steady!! LOL
So a few weeks later i went back and it was closed but were supposed to be open. The sign was in the window every time i went there. I thought i guess they were putting out old oil again n got closed down. And i wss craving their used to be delicious shrimp!! ( Oh and when i talked to her she also said we r going to get in trouble again...im assuming the board of health!?!?) And suddenly, a couple of months later i look in a free ad paper n they had a mulfords coupon!! I looked at the date to see if the paper was old but it wasnt. So... I called them n the rude lady answered. I said ur open??? She said were always open. I told her they were always closed when i went by to get dinner. She said we never were closed. Then, finally she said ohh...we were remodeling. We are not closed. We have been here for years! We arent going to close n were werent closed earlier. So, stupid me goes again and it was great again! Then, really bad again...the animals wouldnt even eat the hard shrimp that were black again. I could not believe it! I called again n she said she would replace it. Well, I never got my money or meal back! i went back a few weeks later to give them a chance to improve and get my $40 dinner they owed me but when i went back...they were closed again and again, etc. Months later, there was a for sale sign!!! Now..i wasnt shocked!! It is just a darn shame when an awesome business goes downhill n doesnt care anymore! So, she did lie to me!! They were not remodeling! They never looked like they did anyway. It still had stacks of stuff everywhere. On the phone she had acted like i was the crazy one thinking they were closed but they were there all along. I knew what closed means n can tell when a building is empty! Now, look who the crazy one is!! I am sorry but u bit ur own self in the tail by not caring about quality anymore!!!....n lying about it!

This place is the worst,when it comes to catching them open.
For instance, today is 9-12-15,a Saturday evening,and they're not open!

I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR MANY YEARS AND I LOVE THEIR CHICKEN... NICE TENDER JUICY AND CRISP...SHRIMP ARE AWESOME!!!

CUSTOMERS! Beware of visiting this restaurant! The food was the most disgusting garbage I have ever encountered in a lifetime of eating experience. The seafood portion was not only pathetically tiny, but actually raw! It tasted like mold and maggots with a rotten stench. The side dishes were cold and slimy. The price was horrendously exhorbitant. How can an owner survive financially with such a nauseating kitchen, such miserable service, and an ambivalent customer service attitude? I seriously recommend that any customer in his right mind avoid this dung heap PERMANENTLY!

I have never in all my life encountered a more miserable, pathetic place to eat. All the food I ordered was so disgusting and tasted like cold, raw, green slime and mucus.
I immediately felt terribly sick and vomited after leaving the premise. The inside looks like a filthy butcher shop. The owner is a rude and ignorant scum bag who never learned how to cook. WARNING! Enter this pitiful, nasty hole in the wall at your OWN RISK!
