HORRIBLE! Odd ambiance, unnatural, water tasted like chemicals so got a soda. SODA tasted like chemicals. Food was overpriced and LAME. WAY too much food just gone to waste. I couldn't see my crab-cakes over the MOUNTAIN of mashed potatoes. Don't waste your time and money. I felt like warning everyone who walked in after us.

drinks are overpriced and watered down, the bartenders are prohibited from doing buybacks for regulars. The owner/operator Martin is a raging, belligerent drunk, which I have personally witnessed twice. Food is mediocre at best. Same guy owns the bar next door--the flying puck, which is pretty to look at, but lacking in quality and value. Definitely avoid. Peter at Niles across the street will gladly welcome you with a smile.

Stopped in last Saturday night for a cocktail after a long arduous trip trying to get into Manhattan from Westchester. My wife ordered a Manhattan with Bourbon and after a half hour, she finally received it. One sip and she knew something was wrong. The drink tasted nothing like a Manhattan should. She immediately notified the bartender, a very young girl, who rudely pulled back the drink and went to make another. When the second arrived, it looked worse than the first one. It looked liked she poured dirty water into a martini glass and it had soap foam on the top. By this time, we were ready to leave. They offered no apologies or compensation for their errors and after watching the bar manager throw down beer after beer, I was reluctant to confront him as well, as drunk as he was at 7:00pm in the evening. The most unprofessional place I have ever been in, nor will I ever go back. They have a lot of nerve calling themselves a traditional Irish Pub. Not even close. I'd rather spend the night in the Blarney Stone.

I have just returned to England after a week of wonderful food. I can recommend the Chops with Mashed potato and veg, in fact anything with mash is amazing. My husband said it was some of the best steak he has ever had. Also the service was outstanding and after trying a couple of cocktails for the first time i can recommend the sour apple martini!! I am already looking forward to visiting again over the xmas period.

My friend and I spent New Years Eve at Harrington's Bar in New York City. After walking 40 blocks to see the ball drop, we were frozen and dying for a stiff drink. Enter Harringtons!
When the bartender's eyes met mine, he knew exactly what I needed. My fingers were frozen and I just needed a drink to warm my chilled body. I started off with a Cosmo and ended with several martinis. The bartender with his thick Irish accent was splendid. He was funny and very attentive. He kept our glasses full. I love him. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was great, too. Everyone that sat next to me -- we stayed for a while -- was friendly and very chatty -- like a bar should be. Even though we live in Virginia, my friend and I can't wait to return. Cheers Ole Chaps!!!

Was extremely disappointed in our waitress, Grainine L. Didn't get what I ordered and she argued and lied about the whole situation. Worst dining experience ever.

Bangers and Mash. I don't need to say anything else. The best I've had. The gravy and onions supplement the full flavor or Irish Sausage.
