DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE CELIAC!!!!!!!!!!!
I live in Hoboken and you can imagine my excitement when I saw their marquee outside advertising that they now serve homemade Gluten Free Pasta! So my boyfriend and I stopped in to ask how the pasta is prepared and to make sure that sterile equipment is used. The woman assured us that they have a separate dedicated area for the gluten free pasta and always use sterile cooking utensils. So last night we decided to try it out for dinner. We wanted to just double check that the kitchen did indeed use a separate pot and sterile utensils prior to placing my order. The waiter advised that everything is cooked in the same water, pots, etc. So we asked if he could just double check with the chef, and when he returned we were advised that they were too busy tonight - everything would be cooked in the same water - maybe we should come back when they aren't so busy. We were appalled! So we politely advised that we would not be dining there tonight - that someone who has a serious intolerance is going to become extremely ill from cross contamination. He didn't seem to care much and we left.
So if you are Celiac, STAY FAR AWAY from here - They are uneducated about safe food preparation and extremely unaccommodating...

I have never been to Tutta Pasta in Hoboken, but there's a charge on my credit card that says I have. How this is possible is beyond me, but my credit card is in my own posession and i have never stepped foot in the place.

Diabolically clever potential scam here: my sister ordered the stuffed artichoke, and found at the end that the heart had been completely removed. Nothing but stuffing at the bottom! Then my girlfriend noticed that the menu offers a dish of fettucine and artichoke hearts. So we are speculating that Tutta Pasta takes the hearts out of the chokes, serves the stuffed chokes without the hearts, saves the hearts for the fettucine dish, and laughs all the way to the bank. We can't prove this, but we're all getting a chuckle out of it.

The Black Linguine Extravaganza for 2 is incredible. When I crave this dish, I have to go and get some. I'm a good cook and I have yet to be able to duplicate this tasty dish.

Bruschetta....delicious fresh tomatoes and garlic on the best bread.

Fried Calamari....crispy perfectly seasoned with homemade delicious sauce

Feast Italiana....amazingly delicious hearty sauce with your choice of pasta. Comes with 2 pieces of italian sausage, 2 meatballs, and 2 tender spareribs (meat falling off the bones).

Very good selection of wines.

Service was exceptional for Hoboken.

The food here isn't the greatest I have tasted better food from a run down diner then from her. I cost me $20 for shrimp scampi that came with 5 pieces of shrimp and the smallest amount of pasta soaked in butter sauce!!!!!! it was gross

My girlfriends and I went for dinner on a Monday night. Between the four of us, we shared the pasta duo and seafood fettuccine duo. Both dishes were good, but the seafood was overcooked and gummy in the seafood fettuccine. The shrimp was especially bad. The wait staff was not great either. My friends were not finished with their salad before the main course was brought out. We asked for them to wait a few minutes so they could finish, but the waiter put down the entrees anyway, told us we should eat the pasta while hot (no sh$t), and took their unfinished salads away. He hovered at our table all night, standing just close enough that it was very awkward to have conversation or even eat. All in all, a rather unpleasant experience for overpriced so-so food. If ordering from this place at all, I would recommend take out to avoid the waitstaff.

They took down the wrong address - somewhat expected from the unresponsive person on the phone taking the order.

ordered 2 pizzas which were smushed during delivery and a bit soggy. Both prices were 6-8 above the menu posted (already emailed menupix about it)

The food itself was ok. nothing spectacular and appropriately overpriced like the rest of hoboken.

If you've ever eaten at places in the city, like posto's on 18th and 2nd, this place cant compete for "brick oven" pizza.

Calari was a little moist and not as crunchy as i'd like. Didn't try any of the pasta.
