The health department needs to pay this place a visit...they might need a police escort because management and staff are so gawd awful. The atmosphere is stench of stale beer combined with sick. The "food" was prepared sometime last year. A business like this cannot stay open with what it serves...must be a front for some other enterprise. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Save yourself from the frustration of visiting an establishment where their goal is to blow you off. I've never had to work so hard to get service, anywhere. The waitresses are simply eye candy. They're not actually there to take orders--don't fool yourself. And if you are actually lucky enough to get some attention--count on having your order screwed up. Horse and Angel isn't going to do anything to fix it either...least of all, apologise for the mistake. Save yourself the frustration--sitting at home with a six pack is far superior to the abuse of the Horse and Angel.

This tavern is one of the worst. If you can tolerate the awful food and arrogant service, watch out for belligerent and rowdy drunks that crowd the joint. I heard someone describe the Horse & Angel Tavern as a sloppy meat market for men over 50 and women over 60. That's being kind.
