A wonderful time. Great service. Excellent meal, especially the cerviche Authentic!

If you want authentic Mexican food, you wouldn’t go to Taco Bell. You would go to Puerto Pensaco. It’s family owned, they’re from Chihuahua and I’ve known the family for years. I know how hard they work. Should we really complain that the staff doesn’t speak English when we go to a Mexican restaurant without knowing the language? If so, they speak English at Taco Bell.

Puerto Peñasco is my favorite place to eat. Everything on their menu is excellent. Love their salsas that are served with tortilla chips. We live out of town but try to eat there once a month if possible. Staff is very friendly.

This place is fabulous with great baja recipes (lots of fish options!). I love it and wish I still lived in NM. I love the authenticity of the spice combinations. For someone wanting anglo-fast food, yeah - this probably isn't your place. But if you've got taste buds and enjoy fantastic food - definitely check it out.

I gave this place three stars because I have never eaten there, but most of the reviews are favorable. I wanted to comment on the reviewer that did not appreciate that the wait staff spoke Spanish. I live in Phoenix and I am Caucasian. At one of my favorite Mexican food restaurants in this area, the wait staff also speaks Spanish or English with a strong Mexican accent. I appreciate the fact that they do because it gives a level of authenticity to the place. The service is always good and I would much sooner hear Spanish in a Mexican restaurant than Hungarian. Absorbing some of and appreciating the Hispanic culture is part of living in the southwest. Mexican food is some of the best cuisine on the planet and all the more enjoyable when cooked and served by Mexican people... as long as it's good and based on the other reviews, this place is good.

This place is awesome!!! I love the REAL MEXICAN FOOD that this place offers. Being from a real mexican family, this is the closest it comes to a real home cooked meal. Santa Fe really doesn't know what real mexican food is. Puerto Penasco has that. Santa Fe is a NEW MEXICAN food city. Puerto Penasco has the Genuine MEXICAN taste.

Try it, it won't disappoint.

I totally disagree with the previous reviewer. I am a Latino and appreciate that the staff speak Spanish. The food is top notch and the service is warm and efficient. A big thumbs up.

This place sucked! Slow service, Waiters couldn't speak English! Cold food. Go somewhere else! Taco Bell is better, trust me!
