my husband and i love bottoms up but this sunday, Dec 22nd was the worst dining experience EVER!!! I undertand they had a a busy weekend, but the whole dinner experiece was unacceptable! First they brought the bread over. there was no side dish available to put the bread on, everytime we go there, they ALwAYS have a side bread plate, meanwhile they sat us in the center of the restaurant where the kitchen doors and the service station was and my husband and i commented on the huge stack of clean plates and none were offered to us. we ate our bread off the table, atleast he put his on his paper napkin. next came the entree. i ordered the filey mignon and asked for plain mashed potatoes. they brought the wrong potaoes...really no big deal until i tasted them, they were definately instant...and the asparagus was so soggy i thought it was meant for an infant. worst meal ever! i couldn't wait to get out of there! i never complain...i usually don't go back but i hope the owners see this as an opportunity for improvement.

What a great place for food and drink. Menu items are always interesting and delicious. Service is excellent and personable. Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.

We particularly enjoy the specials...and the portions are generous.

One of our favorite eateries.

When this restaurant first opened, the food was excellent. I've eaten there 3 times in the past 2 months and the last 2 times were disasters. Either they have a new cook or quality control has slipped to nothing. The first disaster was a prime rib that was definitely not prime. In fact, it was not slow roasted, but grilled like a steak. I've grilled prime rib before with good result, but this was a grizzle-filled, dirty grill tasting piece of meat that I could not eat. Because they took it back with no issues and because we've had good food there up until this point, I decided to return a few weeks later. This past Saturday night I ordered the same dish I'd had and enjoyed before, penne Bolognese. The pasta tasted reheated; it was nearly mush. The sauce was totally different--tasteless! I let the waitress know and agreed that I'd like to order something else. She returned with a menu and I made my decision. A few minutes later, she returned with another dish of the penne which the chef had decided to make. While it still wasn't al dente and the sauce was the same, I decided to just have a few bites and be done with it. Sadly, we will not return. I was amazed that there was still a full dining room, but attribute that to the fact that there are no other restaurants nearby. I doubt that this will continue to be the case if the food does not improve immediately.
