Now that they have new owners, WoW is this place has the best food. I have had everything from the Steaks to pizza and not one thing was bad! When I go out to eat the pub is it, and did I say the frozen mugs of beer is what I like!!!!!!!!!!

Service was great but food was not that good. Frozen salad...and what I ordered...crab cakes were not done on the inside. Not the best choice of places to eat for us.

We eat at LJ Pub regularly and the food is always good. It is a small family owned and operated restaurant and has a great atmmosphere. We go there more since the smoking law came into effect. The service is always good even though at times the food is a tad slow coming from the kitchen. I always feel that my food was cooked just for me so I don't mind the wait.

Lake James Pub is the best. Food is Great and service is the best. The owners are the best people I know. Check it out you will be satisified.

I've eaten at LJ Pub probably 100 times. Everybody has a bad day although I can honestly say I've not had one there. The food is always great. To me, it's all very common, but somehow slightly better. From the chicken quesadilla, to the Teriyaki chicken sandwich, to the Ribeye (the Ribeye is awesome!) - it's all great. Salsds are fresh as are the honey rolls. Large dining room, fun bar, and a decent place to catch a band. You must try it. If something goes wrong, tell the owners; they will make it right.

I'm not sure where you guys ate, but my experience was much much different. Waited forever just to order, food was just ordinary bar food,the pub chips were soggy, and the wait staff was rude!

Excellent food and cold beer, Great lunch specials at $5.95 It just feels like home, good people
