Ordered steaks and stuffed crabs. Food came out quick. NO seasoning. VERY bland. Served in a Styrofoam tray with plastic utensils. Ever try to cut a steak with a plastic knife? 😆 service was great. Waitress did noticed our struggles and brought over steak knives. Nice people. Great place if you want to have a conversation and grab something quick but, once again, NO flavor at all.

I love this quaint little restaurant nestled in the Great Dismal Swamp on 32S. It's great home-cooked Southern comfort food at its best! Just the way Grandma used to make it. Everyone, staff and customers alike, radiates honest-to-goodness Southern hospitality and enjoys one another's company. The Sunday buffet can't be beat! The prices are reasonable and the portions are very generous. It's a definite must if you're out that way and if not, it's well worth the scenic drive!

Great home cooking. I don't know why someone said the food was microwaved, we eat there at least once a month for the Sunday Buffett. They have the BEST homemade fried chicken, great tomatoe pudding.

A country drive, to a country restaurant.........like going to Grandma's for supper. Basic home style cooking, good prices, good portions. A hidden gem near the Dismal Swamp. Hike or bike, then fill up at Corapeake Inn.

extremely good food. Home style cooking. Prices are very reasonalbe. Fried shrimp is lightly breaded and expertly cooked. Going there tonight. Not a beautiful place, but It's quaint and peaceful.
