Ordered a double cheese burger and when I got home, the meat had been cooked for quite sometime .. It was dried up and had one thin slice of cheese.. This burger cost 9.29 .I will never buy another. You think people will pay that for old beef patties and buy it again your crazy

Ordered 2 hamburger steak plates with mashed potatoes and green beans.
One order was correct, the other order had two sides of green beans. Didn't realize it until I got to the table. Informed the servers of the mix up and wanted my mashed potatoes. Was told to bring my tray so they could scrape away half of the beans into the trash because of corporate orders. They would rather see it in the trash than a customer eat it.
Then the sauce that came in a small plastic container was out of the refrigerator cold.
Who puts cold sauce on hot food?
Your way of suing business is not the way to get repeat customers.
We will not be back.
Aunt Bee would not be happy!

Great food. Great service. Great prices. The staff was friendly and helpful. During our 2 week trip we visited several times to try many items on the menu. Aunt Bea's was never a disappointment no matter what time of day or night. We highly recommended!

I wish you would have a calorie count on your menu. I was also a little concerned. The night we were there, this guy kept standing around and everytime someone ordered and paid he would go to the register. He would stare at the customers like he was studying them or casing the place out. The staff new him we seen him talking to them several times during our visit. There was also alot of staff just standing around. There was a order for a customer that sat on the counter for minutes. I finally went to the sitting area and ask if that was someones food. That should have been taken care of by the staff. It should have never waited no ten minutes. I am sure it was extremely cold. They had barbeque plates. As far as the food was concerned it was a little cold. We waited at the counter for our food. If that tells you anything. The cashier that waited on us had great customer service skills while she took our order. She was slso trying to help the other ones just standing around get the orders up. She was working very hard. To keep the customer happy. She needs to be commend for her efforts. Thank you

The BBQ was good. The help was rude. When asked where the tourist spots was for Andy Griffith show was informed that they didn't know they worked in the town didn't have time to go to other places. I pointed out that the restaurant was riding on the Andy Griffith shows persona. They were just rude. Would not go again. The owner of the place needs to go in and clean house. This was the younger help (25-45 yrs. old). They could just care less.

I was extremly disappointed in the place.."Aunt Bee's" invokes the idea of "home-cooked" comfort food..this place was far from it. I had the barbecue which was drenched in a sauce that was too spicey and the meat was not fresh..the hush puppies were cold and hard as rocks..frozen french fries as well..My husband had the hamburger steak special which was a preformed patty and nothing more. This place could bring cash in on the name it uses but it is nothing like a grandmother's or an aunt's home-cooking...The entry and exit are in the same space where you are to stand and place your order so it't a circus..We had no one greet us or tell us to place an order before sitting..poor service..We will not be back.

Most people review Aunt Bea's for their BBQ. The real action is at breakfast! You have to try their bisquits. Country Ham, Tenderloin, Steak and the ultimate Bacon, Egg & Cheese.
At lunch and dinner, their Ground Steak Sandwich and Home Cooked Food are enough to eat there every day. Well, If you want to weigh 300 pounds.
As Andy would say, "It's Go oo od!"

Aunt Bea's is a great place to eat. Extremely clean, very reasonably priced, friendly staff and a menu to satisfy everyone. My family and I have had the pleasure of visiting this establishment on several occasions and we've never been disappointed. Great breakfast served all day, sandwiches, burgers, meat & vegetable plated, BBQ, homemade desserts, ice cream, sundaes, etc. What a wonderful addition to the atmosphere of "Mayberry" as well as a local favorite. If you have a chance, be sure to visit. You won't be disappointed.
