This was my first experience at this restaurant. I heard how wonderful the food was so we were excited to dine
there. We arrived about 6;30 and had heard of specials served until seven for few appetizers and wine.
we sat at the bar and the entire staff were like mexican jumping beans so to speak. The bartender had the personality of a hemorrhoid and would barely gives us the special menu and God forbid I ask for a glass of ice tea!!!! I must admit the lobster slider was quite good but all the service SUCKED. Steerage on the Titanic had much better attention Im sure....I do not recommend this place at all! Too much rudeness

I went to Catch twice over the holidays once on Christmas Eve and we went back for New Years Eve! The FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! We had the BEST TIME! The wait staff was friendly, the food came on time plus Catch offered the most affordable dinner menu package in Wilmington for New Years everywhere else was upwards $50 to $125 PER PERSON!! and we payed $30 per person!

LOVE IT we will be dining there again!!

I ate at catch because I'm from Raleigh and have read about it in the newspapers. I'm convinced that they must be on the payroll. I noticed the awards that the chef has displayed were all outdated, as is the "fresh" specials offered here in truly uninspired form. I got the special lobster, it was covered in a sweet and sour sauce, it was ridiculous. My wife got the scallops, obviously not fresh scallops, and overcooked to boot. I actually tried to send them back but the waitress was absolutely dense! On top of that the service was lazy and uneducated, the wine was sparse and overpriced, and they somehow managed to overcharge my credit card by $50. All of which I'd be okay with if the food wasn't atrocious.
