I ate here once .... and that was enough for me. Over priced for the quality of food. The crowd in the establishment was the worst part, but you have to be realistic and expect mouthy idiots when you consider it is in Uhrichsville.

My husband and I had the beer battered cod which has a very light flakey batter and thick pieces of cod. It tasted so fresh and delicious. The salad was very fresh and the homemade sweet and sour dressing is amazing. We each had a side of spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread all included in the meal. Food was served hot and service was great. Took a pizza home for tomorrow and it looks wonderful and smells great.

I am writing in response to the review that was posted on 6/17/13. I was the server that worked this party, and am in disbelief over the mistruths contained in that review. The food is always served hot and fresh, no exceptions. As I stood with the owner while she was attempting to work out the disagreement, I was told my service was excellent. It's funny how it went from excellent in person, to horrid in the review. The owner was not informed about the children when the reservations were made. The same amount of food was made for this party of 28, that would have been made for any other party of 28. We have parties all the time, and nothing less than happy customers. What really bugs me that I see the owner work very long and hard hours to ensure that her business is properly ran. She takes great pride in her business, and is one of the few owners I have worked for that is knowledgable in every aspect of her business.

Our family of 28 made reservations 4 days in advance for a family style wedding rehersal banquet and received horrid service and poor food. They actually had the audacity to serve our party left over roast beef disguised as dry unsavory swiss steak of which there was approx. only 5oz. per person. Along with left overs they also served: butter/oil drenched cool mashed potatoes, 1 small piece of chicken per person, salty and cool green beans. On top of this the only beverage served was water with no option of dessert because there was no dessert. The total bill was over $500.00 including a gratuity of 18%. No discounts for children and when the manager was confronted about the issue the payee he received a sorry about your luck, give me my money kind of response. All of those posts you have read that advise you not to waste your time or money are absolutely being honest.

They have amazing wings!! I go almost every Tuesday and Thursday to have them. They will make any flavor you ask for.

We were at Chef Ernie's when they were at peak supper hour and we were greeted immediately. We sat quickly and the owner was even helping in the dining room to seat people. We were waited on promptly and pleasantly. Our food was hot and delicious. Plates were cleared as soon as we were finished. We will be going back. Great people, great price.

The food is average at best. If you want a good meal checkout the Dennison Yard Uncle primos, the Pros Table or Bistro 131. Ernies caters to the Midvale/Dennison crowd who like to drink at the bar.

Some of the remarks on here are unreal I eat lunch here at least 3 times a week. Have enjoyed every meal I have ever had. Have even taken my wife in for dinner. She loves it. As for the prices not any worse then other places. I highly suggest this restaurant!!!

Not sure what the Lasagna was supposed to be. Agree with the first comment on here. Don't waste your time or money. There are much better places to eat especially for the money

My family and I are there at least once a week we love it. Highly recommend great food and service.

Don't waste your time or money at the "new" Chef Ernies. Food was cold and service lousy
