I agree, last time I went I was forced to eat using only a hammer and a screwdriver... Otherwise the food is great.

I went into Momiji's for dinner 02-14_14 and recived the worst service ever! I frequent this restaurant throughout tge year, as their food is amazing! On this particular visit we walked in and stoid around for 20 min before someone sat us at a table. The restaurant was only 60% full, but the "to go" orders took priority over the sit down customers. Ok now my wife and i sit down and before my butt touched the the seat, this high strung waiter quickly as if we would like a beverage. I replied with saying we would like to see what you have first. The waiter then dashes off and returns with the beverage menue. Now we are more than ready for a beer, but there isn't anyone nearby to order. We wait another 10 min before he comes back to our table where we order our food and beer, along with an appetizer of cucumber salad. We wait and then our beers arrive and now we wait enough to both finish our tasty beverages and wanted another, but nobidy around to order. Then, in a flash our waiter comes running by and drops the salad onto our table, as he is sprinting by. Now we have no tools to eat with. Waiting anotyer 10 min i was able to get the attention of another waitress to provide our second beverage and tools to eat.
