PLEASE GO TO SUSTER'S OR REDWOOD INN FOR BEST SERVICE & CHICKEN/FOOD.

I'm going to speak on behalf of the SEVERAL PEOPLE that have made very similar comments for years.

This is the MOST POSSIBLE CHEAPSKATE family owned bar/restaurant/dining hall.

For the odd dining hours on their dining nights, they make you sit at the bar on average for over an hour. They profit more on their overpriced weak drinks.

Now, in no way do we ever endorse getting over intoxicated but this place has been known as "the place where you drink yourself sober". For decades....... They use too much ice, smaller than average bar glasses. They under use shots. Their prices are listed on tiny labels on the bottoms of every bottle. Look for yourself!

You can see the big pile of bar glasses/dishes to be washed behind the bar. They wait until they have enough, actually over enough dishes because they don't want to spend the money on their chemicals used to sanitize. It takes 30 minutes for the bar glass washers to fully be ready.... they want to save on power and chemicals. Tacky and looks bad!

Management grabs all tips as fast as they can, take them away and when distributed at the end of the shifts, the bartenders never know if it's the legit amount or not. If they write down they worked 15 minutes or any number longer than their scheduled shifts, they only pay them for what was scheduled. The will round down hours and paychecks.

They don't fill up all ice bins, so bartenders have to work around each other. This is because as soon as you grab ice, the ice machine starts running using little electricity..... so you hear them telling the bartenders to stay in their own spots, but how can they? Fruit fly powder is sprinkled all dusty behind bar on floors.

They don't pay for or make bartenders take the bartending required tests, or pay for licenses, or require them.....illegal and cheap.

Now the dining.... after an hour, they call your number. You finally get seated in a gloomy, dark environment and than order your food and again wait forever to be served. How can their chicken possibly be famous? Suster's is far better, heck, any place has juicier, better tasting chicken. Their menus have an extreme limited selection to choose from.

Bathrooms stink.

Than you wait forever for the expensive bill. You go to pay and they don't take credit cards..... God forbid they absorb a small bank fee! What year is this and no credit cards? Have heard of people booking meetings, occasions here, and after dining, having a heavy bar tab... get done with their get to gethers, pull out their credit cards only to find out they don't take them!

So you leave later than you wanted to watching Netflix at home when you really wanted to go to a theater with all the time they took from you.

For weddings, occassions, etc., they open the ballroom with a tiny bar on the lower half. Same rules apply. God forbid you put 2 squirts of bitters in people's Old Fashioned drinks. These are their most popular drinks.

Now, with newer generations, they have no clue how to make a requested drink and come up with a price in their heads, not in your favor. Owners do not welcome any new or modern ideas to make money. They just have hundreds of stupid ways to be cheap! Leave all dirty bar rags down to just 1 until finally washing them when the Partie's over!

I guess this is how they pay for their several exotic routine trips around the world.

Yes, we agree the place smells like all the previous generations that attended there. But buying Febreeze would be just another reason for them to pile up the kitchen dishes to the max before washing them. Double bag a garbage can and they'll go crazy! (That extra bag costed them 2 cents for their planned trips).

So people, that bar rag they just used on your glass.... is it really clean? Are you going to feel sick from the expired chicken they were supposed to toss?
