My daughter lives in the area and treated me and my sister to lunch. Burger and fries were the BEST I've had in a long time. Just enjoyed the Pumpkin Pancakes and Creamed Dried Beef last weekend. Full house, but didn't have to wait long. Service was GREAT! Very attentive, even brought us our own cafe of hot coffee. Love the fact that the owner was so personable with the customers, visiting each table and thanking us for coming. Will return and am sharing out experience with friends and co-workers.

I won't go here again. The atmosphere is a 50's diner, the decor is really neat, but the food has a lot to be desired. I ordered a fish fry and it is was terrible...like they got it out of a box at the grocery store freezer section, except it was poor quality and tasted really fishy. The fries were soggy but the cole slaw was fine. Even the tartar sauce tasted weird. It wasn't terribly busy, but we did have to wait a while to be waited on. My friend ordered a sandwich and it wasn't anything special....plain white bread with some sandwich meat and lettuce plopped on and falling apart...something I could make better at home. I'd prefer to go down the road a few minutes to September Farms. Their sandwiches and food are really good and it has a quant local color atmosphere....lots of samples, very friendly service and very good cheeses.
